Rainbow Wolf

My part of the art trade between me and ~goldenEden
She wanted me to make this wolf for her [link] so I took the challange, now here it is!

I've been very critical for myself lately when it comes to sketching and stuff so this one was HARD! Man I hate drawing wolfs and I don't understand everyones obsession about the animal. It's mighty, proud and beautiful, yes, but why does everyone have to have houndreds of wolf chatacters, fursonas and only draw them? Heck, half of the most popular artists here on deviantART draw nothing but wolfs! Sorry, I just don't se what's so facinating that the whole world needs to make them!

So... I've hardly drawn wolfs before so this was a challange... After my fourth try or something, I had to crawl to the cross and find myself a tutorial on the anatomy...which wasn't hard since dA's full of them...

The coloring tho, was awesome! I had so much fun with it that I had to do it all in one sitting! Tried to match the original picutre as much as possible when it came to the color pattern but it's not 100% correct sadly...I did my best...

And yes I know that the left front leg's TOO big! I didn't notice it before after I did the lineart and was too stubborn to make a new one...
